NROA Youth Corner
Greetings to all—youth,
students, parents & Guardians. I bring to you good news in the name of Jesus
Christ. The youth department here at New Rock of Ages is delighted to inform
you that God has truly been good to us in the years that we have been here.
God is doing a new thing with our youth he has blessed our youth to reach their
goals, thanks to the monetary blessings from our congregation, community and
friends. The youth has worked diligently to raise funds to help pay for their
activities as they serve faithfully in the church. The Youth at our church
volunteer to do car washes, fundraisers, and youth events to help with the
expenses of youth outings. In addition
to
their hardwork to serve others, God has sought fit that our youth be involved in
as many activities as possible to keep a solid foundation in Christlike fun.
Our youth choir “Angelic Voices” has been invited on several occasions to sing
at different churches, our youth praise dancers “Essence of Praise” has been out
to perform and many of our youth have receive awards in academics, trophy’s for
athletic performance in basketball and outstanding performance in drill team.
We would like to invite you to come and support our youth in celebrating their 4th Annual Youth Day “Fashion & Talent Event” on Sunday, August 28, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. There will be lots of singing, praise dancing, and laughter, and special acknowledgements to our “Graduates” who promoted in 2005. Be there and don’t miss out on your blessing!
